![]() We were rushed our entire meal and felt the waitresses wanted us gone. When we came in there was hardly anyone else there eating and they were closing in one hour. It is now 9pm and they are seating us for dinner after checking in at 5 30. Upon checking again 30 minutes later they said another hour. After 2 hours checked in and they said an additional half hour. Upon arriving at 5:30 to put our names in we told 2 hours, which we expected due to our large party of 12. Not the cites fault, but first night we decided to go to Taco Boy for dinner, as this was always our favorite place to eat in Folly and we cannot wait to eat there. I do not enjoy the the price gouging on parking, the over aggressive life guards constantly harassing us by driving by us checking out our camp. Bottom line here, I go on vacation to relax. ![]() I sort of got the feeling this happens a lot and most people just pay it out of convenience vs going to fight it. I had to go to the court house to protest and was told the ticket would be voided. Next my golf cart was parked legally and paid for for the entire day, but I was given a $25 ticket. For the rest of our week we were watched like a hawk, driving by us 10 to 15 times a day to check on us to ensure we didn't have an exposed can top. He proceeded to write a ticket for $65 and said since you are being corporative I won't write if for $140. ![]() We asked for a warning due to not know that no part of the can can be above the top of the cozy. Next, family was on beach our first day and brother in law, quietly sitting on beach with all 13 of us (ages 2 to 77) and life guard came up behind him and said, "I am going to have to ticket you for the exposed part of your beer can. Parking up to $50 to park to go to dinner and shop around Center Street. Beautiful area, but was different this year. ![]()
